Valenki Russian Felt Boots are warm Russian winter boots made of tiled sheep wool; Valenki more often made hard, but also soft versions of these felt boots exist.
Valenki — traditional felt boots of the peoples of Eurasia, which is used for walking on dry snow. Valenki can be called truly universal shoes — because your feet in them will be neither cold nor hot! Comfortable temperature is maintained due to the fact that felt boots are not susceptible to extreme temperatures. And this means that boots are not only comfortable, but also good for health. Another advantage of boots is naturalness. Along with Ushanka hat, Telogreika jacket, valenki were used as Russian winter uniform in WW2.
