Description

Spetsnaz uniform suit in Kamysh camo pattern – a Russian version of tiger stripe pattern that was introduced circa 1993 in both a green and a blue (urban) colorway. Referred to in some period literature as the Piatnisto-fioletovoe obmundirovanie (spotted violet uniform) or PFO, the two designs are more commonly known as Kamysh (Cane), or as Tigr (tiger) and Тень (Ten) (shadow). The patterns were initially only worn by MVD OSN (Vitiaz) and OMON, but use has spread to a variety of special units of the MVD. Indeed, the tiger patterns have continued to be worn by Russian forces into the present period, making them one of the longest-lived MVD camouflage designs. Some variations in coloration have been documented, depending on the fabric and manufacturer.
The special forces suit consists of a jacket and trousers. The jacket is shortened, with a central hidden fastener on loops and buttons, with upper welt pockets with a flap, worn tucked in or on the release. On the stitched belt, the width of which is regulated by special pats, fastened with loops and buttons. A set-in sleeve with a reinforced elbow pad, the bottom of the sleeve is adjustable in size with a velcro fastener. Mesh for ventilation in areas of active heat. Pants with belt loops for a wide belt, with an oversized belt for the convenience of wearing ammunition, multi-functional pockets, tightened with elastic tape on the sides, with a mesh for ventilation in the groin area, with reinforcing pads on the knees at the bottom equipped with Velcro straps (for using soft knee pads and elbow pieces), with special cuffs on the bottom of the trousers. Sophisticated multi-functional suit. It is in great demand by employees of special services.
