GP-7 Gas Mask Filter

Description

GP-7K  Gas Mask Filter (surplus) will fit GP-7, GP-4, GP-7, PMK, PMG, GP-7VM, GP-7V and many other Russian and foreign gas masks with standard 40mm filter thread.
It contains two main elements – the anti-aerosol filter (PAF), in which the air is cleaned of aerosols (radioactive dust, aerosols OM and other toxic substances, bacterial aerosols), and coal catalyst (activated carbon), which provides the absorption of toxic fumes (gases) substances.
The filtering and absorbing box is designed to clean the air inhaled by a person from vapors and aerosols of poisonous, potent toxic and radioactive substances, as well as bacterial agents. It is made of tin or aluminum alloys and has the shape of a cylinder. To increase the strength of the box, ridges are extruded on the case. A screwed neck is mounted in the upper cover for connection with the front part, which is sealed with a metal cap with a rubber gasket during storage. At the bottom there is an opening for intake of inhaled air. When storing and overcoming water obstacles, it is also closed with a rubber stopper.
